Because I can fasten my belt up to the third notch, something I haven't been able to do for many months, and with relative ease. That means soon I'll be able to start wearing some trousers I haven't worn for more than six months again

Just, whatever you do (assuming your clothing retailers there are simular to over here), take it too* far.... Seriously... Now I've left teh 40 + inch waist trousers decades behind, and teh 36s, and 34S, are just unwearable, and now the 32"s are even getting lose, Its become quite apparent, round here at least, that no one any longer provideds male trousers (mainly Jeans), in anything less than 32", and, a couple shops in the high street I checked out a while ago, didn't even have anything as low* as 32" 
I'm actually going to have to cut off some of the leather from my really decent 2" wide thick leather belt, now, as its virtually one and a half times round my waist, thanks to all the extrtraholes I keep adding in so I can tighten it enough 
I'm so so tempted now, to dream the unthinkible and to aim for a 28" waist, even though it'll make finding jeans near on impossible.... Just so I can realy* really* annoy my younger Brother 
pah... I've not the will-power
