hello there my dear i must say that after reading your opening that i like your attitude...quite open, honest and fresh
yes, i am aware of the seasons between spring and summer, a bit like between fall and winter...not too hot and not too cold with just the right amount of rain and everything is so lovely .

Well, thank you for your coments! I'm so glad I even found this site! I actually just wanted a place to post my thoughts and was directed to this place. It's even better then I wanted cause I can read other peoples thoughts too.

it is a fantastic site to store your thoughts
the journal entries can never be deleted so they are a bit like a diary which i find quite nice...no temptation to look back later on and erase it because i now find it silly...it is there forever and i can also see just what my thoughts, feelings, actions at the time were
you will also find this site to be chocked full of handy dandy information supplied by us, the researchers. we have a process where the researchers write articles about anything and everything then if they would like they can attempt to have it become a permanent accepted part of the guide. on the front page you will see a list of what is accepted each day (normally you will see the top 5 but there can be more accepted). everyone tends to be a bit 'chuffed' when one of their articles is accepted and i can't say as i blame them
oh dear me! i do believe i rambled on again....

Please, share your thoughts with everyone else. (either here or elsewhere) as a fellow poet i know what you mean about having brain spasms that require you to write. you have a knack for creating some good imagery, and shouldn't let it go to waste. I'd also like to join in with agony aunt in requesting that you share some of your knowledge as well when you are ready. We all know something well enough to write about it. If you have any questions about maneuvering around h2g2, or writing guide entries, don't hesitate to ask. Most of us around here are rather friendly sorts willing to answer questions if we know them, and make up answers if we don't. Some of us have actually volunteered to go around answering questions, and we are called ACEs. now wasn't that just the sweetest thing? ....i just love those ACE's, always anxious to help wherever they can and let me tell you they have helped me out of a bind on more than one occasion ...
i can honestly say that without the help of the ACE's i would never have the few items on my page that you can see now...they didn't hesitate to go step by step with me to make sure i did everything correctly and if i have ever had a question well...you got it!, they were right there with bells on...i think someone needs to give them a big gold star!

LOL That definatly wasn't a welcome I was expecting(ACE's)! This really is a great site! I've been racking my brain for quite a while trying to think of something I know enough about to enter in the guide. I think the problem is I only know a little stuff about a lot of things.

if all you know is a little about a lot this is not a problem...begin with what you know and request help from others on filling in the blanks of what you don't know ....we used to have a section called the fun run....vegiman was in charge of it if i am not mistaken...you could submit your article to the fun run and others would offer advice, knowledge and so on....maybe our helpful ACE can see what he can dig up for you on this
