I would like to take issue with the postings above, it is not a requirement for a toasted sanwich to be made in a "sandwich toaster". It is possible to make the same sarnie in a frying pan with the use of less energy with the added advantage you can fit REALLY BIG ingredients in them.
Best recipe - Ham, Cheese & a touch of onion, i know its dull but it is still the king of Toasties.
And no I am not a student
