Nice little entry. Interesting, informative and well presented smiley - cheers!

Or perhaps, Cheers smiley - stiffdrink!!!

Am I mistaken, or does one of the customers in Fawlty Towers order a Gin and Bitter Lemon?

It's the family who never seem to get served - I can't remember in which episode - and the father keeps repeating the order, with increasing annoyance.

It might be the Wedding Anniversary...

Anyway

Close but no cigar...

It was the first episode, "A Touch Of Class", featuring the fraudulent Lord Melbury. Basil is so busy fawning over his lordship that he repeatedly ignores Mr Wareing who is trying to order a gin and orange, a lemon squash and a scotch and water.

...so your memory wasn't totally at fault; only the bitter part was missing!
smiley - cheers

Enjoyed the entry - even so far as to try a GBL with Plymouth G. Oh dear. Not the thing at all - far too sweet (needed a proper GanT to make up for it).
On its own, though, from the 'fridge or with ice then definitely Yes.
