What part of MN are you from, Hop? I lived in Fergus Falls for about a year and a half.

I lived in Mankato from 1992 to 1999. I lived in South Dakota originally, and then in 91 moved in with friends in Richfield until I could get lined up in Mankato.

So I'm not a native by any stretch. But the similarities between Minnesota and the Dakotas are strong enough to where it was no big deal to move here.

The pay is much better, though.

I've never been to Fergus Falls. Nice? Hellish?

If you ignore the hot muggy summers and the cold snowy winters and the killer mosquitoes, it wasn't so bad. Its right over the border from Fargo - like maybe 45-50 miles away - so you probably know the area if nothing else.

Pretty much. I actually really enjoyed my time there and would like to go back to visit. I don't think I could move back though. I've fallen in love with Colorado and don't want to leave just yet.
