Hmm I added you to mine as well...ignore what I said then, obviously there are still things I need to learn about. But don't worry, it all gets a little clearer with time. I guess as you accumulate more friends(on your list)you'll start to notice the way that works.And making friends isn't a problem, just join in conversations where you feel you've got a valid opinion, in some of the various Clubs & Societies(A660340). Or add your comments to a few of the-conversational-threads at <./>askh2g2</.>. Alot of good people here...heck we're here, right?

Not to be naive but is this a thread? Ok I'm still a mere babe in the string of threads!

Alrightlast thing we want is for you to get hopelessly tangled in threads without even knowing what they are! A thread is like a 'train of thought' or a line that someone starts with a comment or a question. Let's say it was a question...then an answer would make that thread grow longer, as would additional comments or opinions on that topic...that's my explanation. I mean I started this thread when I typed that welcoming message...& now every time either of us adds another comment(or question-like your asking what a thread is)the thread gets longer.Or for another example look at all the different threads in <./>askh2g2</.>. Each seperate topic or question is the beginning of a thread. But in Feisor's Hints and Links he provides a link to a glossary of terms that you're likely to have questions about. I hope that wasn't too confusing!
