Hi. This is my first serious Guide Entry, so don't expect miracles. I rescued this entry from the Flea Market and kudos goes to Matthew Mattic (the original author) and Opticalillusion, who gave some very valuable information.

Hi Aximili,
I would advise breaking this up into sections with subheaders. The history, the interesting facts etc, that type of thing.
My entire Beano collection was shredded and made into a nest the size and shape of a football in just one night by an errant hamster

It's OK, I'm about it.
Right, back to the writing.
You seem to have two different paragraphs about the sale of a comic for a record fee - you'll need to decide which to include.
Also, there is a paragraph with " round it, dunno why.
You also have what looks like a quote by someone - I think you need to indent the actual quote.
Finally, you have a date with an apostrophe in it, which you don't need for the EG.

thanks, bs. I never knew about that. i thought about the Bananaman TV series, but as that is part of the Dandy, and not really relevant, I decided to leave it out. If thats not what you meant, I would be grateful for more information as I have never heared of it.

There is still a paragraph with " round it, unsure why.
Plus there's a quote at the end of a paragraph which needs clearly defining as such.

1)It is not necessary to write Introduction
2)Take out www.beanotown.com and turn it into a link.
3)Dates are set out like so 30 July, 1938
4)Take a look at my rough entry on the Beano for inspiration

Sorry it took so long. I've sorted that out, and added a bit on the Dennis TV series.

Not sure I understand, Opti. The only link is Beanotown.com, which is in the first paragraph, and I've written the exact dates (I think they are correct) as you advised. Could you please clarify?

Ah, a crucially important subject. Very interesting. I think you could do with explaining some of the characters, rather than just assuming the reader knows who they are. How about mentioning the Dennis the Menace fan club?

I've added a bit about the Dennis Fan Club, and if this goes well I intend to make seperate entries on the more popular characters later.
