Does anyone miss those hefty old TI-30 calculators besides me? The kind you had to put a 9-volt battery in and could use to do your homework in the dark with a flashlight. These little modern light-powered things are a nuisance. I miss the red light display, the weight, the large keypad. I miss it all. It was a calculator that let you know it was a calculator. And it also came with that big reference book. With a calculator like that, you could anticipate a great future filled with important knowledge.

Yeah!! i know what you mean.
well the calculator has passed away.
but the book is still there. "the great international math on keys book"
and i use it sometimes !

I don't know where my book is... either still in the closet or my Mom may have thrown it out by now. I'll have to look for it.
