The only reason Grey Area has a bone to pick with the most fascinting and most worthwhile Packagaging museum in Glocester Docks is, they tried to recruit him as an exhibit!

The packaging museum sounds like an exciting destination. I wonder, did someone in Gloucester invent the carboard box or the toothpaste tube - my appetite is whetted, I demand to know.

WF, it's cool, I don't reside in Gloucester, I was just there on a recon for potential targets. The twerp had a collection of telegraph poles as well! Place was full of old biddies going,"OOH! I remember when you got those sort of tins," SO BLOODY WHAT? WHO CARES?!!
There is a Tutankhamun Exhibition in Dorchester which deserves a similar fate. It was so awful, I didn't even bother with the dinosaur exhibit.
The Sea Life Center in Weymouth is pants too. It would have seemed OK, but for the massive build up they gave it on TV. Also in Weymouth is The Titanic Experience. It's basically a load of old diving suits with shop dummies in them, plus assorted bits of rusty crap they dredged up.
So, now you have a whole list of worthwhile targets for when you wig out and run amok.
I understand that you cannot see the attraction of shooting. It was one of those things you had to experience. Of course, you got the odd nobber in the club, just like everywhere. It was fun, harmless, and now it's gone.

The only decent 'local' museum thing I've been to is at Bletchley Park where you can look round the "Station X" base where all the codebreaking was done during WW2. And the Nazi underground hospital in Jersey is pretty good.
Mostly all local events are non-events and 'places of interest' are 'places of sheer desparate boredom'.
By their very nature these should be categorized as grade A targets come the revolution.
Actually it's a pretty good argument for maintaining the gun control laws that exist in Britain. Can you imagine the bloodshed that would be unleashed at village fetes up and down the country if bored citizens could carry firearms around?
"Would you like to buy a raffle ticket?"..."No"

"Would you like to take part in the trasure hunt?"..."No"
"Would you like to sponsour our...." *BLAM* *BLAM* *BLAM*.

Hey, WF, you are one heck of a cool Dude!
Got taken to Bletchley Park by Logan 5 a few weeks ago(thinks he has forgotten how to use h2g2), anyways thought it was brilliant. Managed to sneak into Deep Thoght, er I mean Colossus room and took some great pictures whilst it was running. The computer musem place was pure liquid nostalgia. Great place hope they do not spoil it.
Somebody tried to sell me raffle tickets.......

Andrzej.

Logan 5 could bore for Britain about Bletchley Park. I don't want to know about piles of electronic bat guano. I want cool computers, like in the movies!
"Open the beer fridge door, please, Hal."
"Shan't!"
Not to decry the importance of what they did, but I've read some books, and seen the programmes. Play the signature tune, and let's move on!

Besides, I've been in possession of weapons when I've had double glazing salesmen, Jehovahs Witnessess, politician scum and the like at the door while I was eating my dinner and watching Star Trek. Did I give them both barrels? Nope! I just told them what to go and do with themselves, preferably sideways. Cos I'm just a normal, sane, cool dude, as long as I've remembered to take the pills, and I don't believe in violence.

You could shoot up Monkey World, as well, while you're at it, but don't you DARE touch Bovington Tank Museum, full of lovely Death Toys, Ummm, and also Cosford and Hendon RAF Museums are wonderful too.
Just got dragged round Salisbury Cathedral, yuk, and Old Sarum, which would make a good place for a mortar battery if you fancy modifiying the Cathedral into some thing useful, like a car park.

Ok, had a good time crawling with Logan 5 all over a Polaris Missile, could not see the blue touch paper, must have been a dud.

"Open the door please Hal"
"Nope!"

Kerblaam! Though I'd find a use for that .5 Desert Eagle......

Just found a company that supplies custom air rifles from .177-12 foot pounds up to .50-220 foot pounds!!! FAC only, of course. What would you use THAT for?

Good one Archer, I do not have any space to practice my archery skills anymore. Plink indoors with a little air pop toy thesedays.

Your statement, excellent car window sticker material, cheers!

Too bad about the lack of space for archery. I am lucky to have a 30 yard shot in my backyard. Here is another one. Stop anti-gun legislation.....shoot a liberal today!

Hmmm, but surely, that would be giving them extra ammunition?
Anyhow, Liberals are nothing more than Political Prostitutes.
