but can I please be a scout some day?

Actually, on second (or fifth) thought, It'll probably be ages before I actually make it to the top. 
Do you know if any of the volunteer schemes are suffering from a defficiancy of volunteers?

Hi Strider,
Actually, the wait's not as long as you'd think - probably only a week or two. Scouting is probably your best bet for volunteering, time-wise.
