Entry: Pond Life - to Explore the Small World - A26108886
Author: Matt (the Hoopy), Esq. - U168592

Part 3 of a three part project. smiley - smiley

The other two parts are linked within the Entry, but will be submitted to PR separately, so please can any suggestions etc. be added to the relevant PR thread, rather than at the Entries.

(I'll be having my name removed if they are accepted into the EG, plus there may be images, or even film footage, contributed by the author at some point!)

Part of this one covers the same subject as my entry. I was going to suggest they be merged, but I don't want my name on anything that recommends killing anything, and of course, fish don't belong in my pond.

I'm not altogether sure what you're suggesting, if anything, but I've removed the link to the Entry on Wildlife Gardening - Water Habitat if there are concerns over repetition, and being connected to 'recommending killing' - which is quite extremist isn't it? I would say there is a suggestion in the Entry on how to go about collecting specimens - it's not saying go outside and senselessly kill dragonflies, is it? smiley - winkeye

"But any pond wouldn't be complete without some of the larger creatures. Amongst these include frogs, toads, and other amphibians (including their young, such as spawn and tadpoles), fish (both small and large), and all the predators of these animals, like reptiles, birds, and many other native animals."

This is a little awkward to read, I think. How about

"But no pond would be complete without some of the larger creatures. This includes..."

Good job. smiley - smiley

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Thank you smiley - biggrin

Again, for the Subbie, please can we wait until all three Entries have been recommended before beginning work, so all back and forward and upside-down linking and so forth can be done so as EF doesn't get a hammering smiley - smiley
