IMHO this one has all that an entry needs.
Not to speak of huge amounts of garlic

I agree, I think it's a disgrace that this topic isn't included in the edited guide.
I couldn't find a fault with it either!

The dish you described is indeed from Italy and called "Lasagne al forno", to distinuish it from other dishes that also use the strips of pasta called lasagna. Forno means oven.

Spelling needs a bit of tidying up and there are a couple of queries, eg what size package of mozzarella.
These days, lasagna doesn't automatically mean meat lasagna, so the title could also do with amending, or an alternative veggie filling given. Veggie lasagna is brill.

Yummy! Much needed entry!
Will it be brown when covered with tin foil? I usually don't (cover it, that is - I have never tried to make myself brown when covered with thin foil ).
Veggie addition would be nice - if helps needed, I could probably dig a good one out (gooa according to this family's tastebuds, anyway)

Oh please don't make *me* take it up for rewriting and converting it into yet another piece of 2000+ words
Santra, if you're interested... ?

Aha, another pasta-related entry for The Count to pore over. Meanwhile, can I point out that lasagna is singular (it means 'layer') and the name of the dish is always found in the plural, lasagne. (English speakers pronounce the two the same, but they're different to Italians)

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Hello, the DNA team have beaten me to it but well done, the entry will now wend its way into the edited guide and will eventually wind up on the front page.
Nice one.
As I said when I picked it...
