Post 1

Gaurav

Hey! The "edit" option on a couple of my articles have just vanished ... replaced by "submitted"! How do I edit it?

The only time you can't edit an entry is when the entry is being edited by the in-house editorial team. What are the entry numbers and their titles, I can check for you...

Thanks!

The articles are A395165 and A401879. I've "finished" with the first one, but i'd like to change the other one.

I can wait ...

What bits did you want to change in A401879? I gave it a preliminary read and can talk to the in-house editors about it if you want.

The first one has been edited and added to the Edited Guide, you can change your original version, but not the edited version. You should have received an acceptance email?

The second one is currently being reviewed by the Editorial team, so you won't be able to edit it until it has either been edited or rejected...

Good luck... smiley - smiley

If he wants to change the second one, why not reject it and have it get resubmitted to the Peer Review System?

I wouldn't recommend it, because it looks like the entries submitted to the old Queue will be processed first. That is, he would basically be starting over from square 1 if he switched to the Peer Review system now. And anyway, wouldn't that make the sub-editor's work on his entry somewhat a waste of his/her time?

I *am* that Subeditor.

It needs some more work, but I've already sent it back to the in-house team. As always, final inclusion rests with them, but if he can add to it and make it better I think he should pull it out of the queue and start over, sending it through the Peer Review system.

OK, firstly sorry for not seeing what was happening here for some time (but you guys seemed to be entertained smiley - smiley). Anyway, now, as far as I can see, everything has righted itself, I can change the article as it's "out of the queue" (it was an article on quotes, and I wanted to add some more) Anyway, thanks for the help, and advice, and everything.

Oh, and, before I go, smiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fishsmiley - fish
