h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

These entries appear to identical. The first is titled
"Facutly of Social Sciences" in the University of Life. The second is titled "Faculty of Science and Mathematics". Besides the titles being different, the 2 entries appear to be identical. Is this a link error?

I don't think the entries aren't identical -- A612299 and A612343 and different subsets of the University of Life. As both are part of the University of Life, the style is very similar.

However, the Departments covered in each entry, and so the University Projects listed, are different. In A612299 the Social Sciences are represented; in A612343 Science and Mathematics.

Ignore that post! You're right! The Faculty of Science and Mathematics content has vanished! Although the title remains; the GuideML is that of the Social Sciences.

Incidentally, I don't think it's a bug. It looks to me like, during editing the page, the GuideML for the Faculty of Social Sciences was accidentally pasted into the Faculty of Science and Mathematics.

As far as I can work out A612299 has a couple of more entries down near the bottom of the page, but apart from that, thats it! I do know that the Management are looking at revamping the University and the way some things are structured. I guess that this will get sorted in the process

...and you can see from the simpost that I was flipping from page to page spotting the differences between starting my reply and finishing it

I don't think you'll need to resubmit it, but if you do, say that A612343, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, has been overwritten with the GuideML from A612299, the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Okay, I surrender, this was my copy and paste mistake. However, I am aware of it, and I have spent some time finding all the missing projects. Unless people are really desperate for me to replace the page, I doubt that I will, because as GreyDesk has said, we are restructuring the Uni, and these pages won't exist when we are finished. When I get into the office I'll do something with the page so that Researchers don't worry.

Just don't forget about Project: Organic Chemistry!
