It looks fine to me, it's working. 
When you put a link in a conversation, just put in the URL, you don't need the tags.

In a Guide Entry the link should read:
Name of h2g2 Entry
In a conversation posting, as Mina says, just type in the URL:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A123456
