Update Starship Titanic as a game app?

I played with the Starship Titanic game when it was on Windows 95 & was quite obsessed with it. I know it's an very old game & the game technology has grown exponentially since then. But I'm wondering if this game could be adapted to a game app format for the mobile phones. Anyone know if something is in the works?
