The GEs received an email advising of a broken link in this Entry and a suggestion to direct to their own site. Having looked at their recommendation, I felt it was too much of a commercial site to meet our guidelines on external links.
I don't know enough about history, but here is a suggested link for replacing the broken one in the sentence below:
