Thanks Gnomon! This was a demonstration post because I was showing Rosie how we might be able to do this - ie the Artists have the images over in Trello, but they cannot add them to Entries, whereas the Curators would be able to.

We're looking at running a Challenge soon in Create, asking for new images to old Entries, and I was thinking of a way to simplify the system. If the images are approved and uploaded by the Artists, the Curators might like adding them to the Edited Entries?

I'm trying to share the workload a little, and also take advantage of our volunteer skills and permissions.

In the old "Photographers" system, the photographers group used to prepare the photos and send them to the editors, the editors uploaded them, and then the photographers put a request into Editor Feedback for the curators to add them to the entries.

This could certainly work.

One issue to consider on this particular entry is that it already had an image, an old blob. We have to decide what to do with such pictures - remove them? Reposition them? Leave them at the start of the entry and place the new pictures further down?

Another thing to consider is that you should provide an Alt Text description of each picture to be added - I recognised these having been to the place, but the curator should not be expected to know what is in the picture.

The Alt text - yes, a description should be from the owner of the photo.


And I didn't realise there was an old blob. In a few cases where this had been the case I have been moving the blob to the very bottom of the Entry, and using "center" tags. Here is one example: A2903843
