In the second paragraph-
"During the 19th Century in England and Germany, Ranke and other empiricist historians, such as Thomas Babington Macaulay." is just a sentence fragment. I would say add something like 'rose to prominence' at the end of the sentence, which as far as I can tell fits with the context of the entry.
After the blockquoted text near the end, there's a footnote that just kind of comes out of nowhere at the beginning of the tag. I suggest this be moved to the end of the blockquote, so it actually appears as a citation. Unless adding footnotes like that is a practice I'm just not aware of?
