In the entry on the numbers killed in the wars is there a typo?
Section 2, Damned Lies:
"It is however chilling to know that the Jewish population of Europe was 8,000,0000 in the 1930s, and the global population of Jews now is only 10,000,000."
Was the european jewish population 80000000 (ie eighty million) as in the text or 8000000 (eight million) given where the commas separate the zeros in the text.

Best check with Ben also to make sure the numbers are right (I also put a thread on the article page in the hope she may see it also).

Have you checked to make sure that Ben meant eighty million (80,000,000) as you've changed it to and not eight million (8,000,000). I just want to make sure the number is right (I don't know the answer!).

It still reads "It is however chilling to know that the Jewish population of Europe was 80,000,000 in the 1930s, and the global population of Jews now is only 10,000,000."
The Jewish population of Europe was 8 million. It might be better if the whole thing read "It is however chilling to know that the Jewish population of Europe was 8 million in the 1930s, and the global population of Jews now is only 10 million."
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
Thanks a million. Or ten!
