Hiys, I just had a bit of an idea. Lots of people dislike the idea of being able to edit thir own posts, as it allows people to change what they said etc. How about you can edit your own post, and the most render is the one that is displayed, but that all previous versions are also available to read (perhaps on tab underneath?). That way you can correct that glaring typo, but it doesn't,t interrupt the flow of the conversation. Also I'd some uses it for evil, it's easy to go back and check.
I know it's a bit late and quite possibly not a very good idea, but after the dream I'e just had I feel like anything is possible: there were dragons and everything.

Wretched auto correct. Although it does illustrate the need for an edit function...

Not a bad idea.
It would take a pretty huge amount of reworking of the database and code though.
Having said that, we are planning both of those.
