Good welcome Androyd.
Didn't leave much out. Welcome Nitpicker, if you truely are a nitpicker no doubt you'll soon be nitpicking mine and other researcjers articles, which is good as most of us appreciate constructive critiques of our work. I usually try and accomadate or at least acknowledge everyone who comments on mine. Float around be free and if you have to nitpick with a smile.

It's OK in this kind of communication but it really pissed me off to find that Accepted Guide entries still have the spelling mistakes from when they were first posted (or that's how it seems to me)

Well on that case I agree. I'm a pretty bad speller, being mildly dislyxic and all. But even I can sometimes see that the subs have missed one here or there.

They couldn't have made dyslexia more confusing if they's tried could they? Reading seems to be do-able but writing is so much harder to get a grip on.

Yeah plus they make it one of the hardest words to spell so sufferers fear even writting down that they have it on application forms. I had a classic one pointed out on my staff appraisal form this year. I'd spelt maintaining maintaing because of the repeating 'in' at least my line manager knows it's only a mild case I have and understood as two of her kids have it.

So your big on the spelling-and-punctuation-and-grammar-and-stuff, huh?
Well, I can understand your beef with the spelling and punctuation, but, to badly mutilate a western-movie line; Grammar don't go around here, Grammar-Dog.
Oh, wait, you never mentioned grammar at all! I'm sorry. Please ignore my previous idle babbling.

Hey Nitpliickear (Just Joking)(Bad Joke at that)
Thanks for popping over to my page and I have had a look around and found nothing on your idea. If you want to do something of the nature you described, then Post the idea on a page, I can then look at it and let you know, either that or email me at vegiman.aces.h2g2.com.
BTW - I little tip about using free internet or monthly prepaid accounts. It does tend to clock you off, especially if you do not send or recieve data for a while.
If you set to check your emails every 5/10 minutes it kinda fools the server and you can leave it running while you go off and do other things. When you return - you are still on line. Well it works for me

Well spotted Emar - spelling (in English) is fixed unlike in Holland where they update the spelling of about 10-15 words every year because they are not pronounced like that any more.
Grammar is a totally different matter - the rules are not so fixed and, while some basic rules are good, an author's individuality comes across in the distinctive way they break those rules.
Thanks anyway for the reply
