Ok, so you're a fan, but how much? I consider myself a bit of an anorak - I know that there were 52 tons of reconstituted sausage pate on board as of 'Confidence and Paranoia', that the Cat is Felis sapiens, that the fourth-season 'Meltdown' was supposed to be the first of the season but was shifted because of the Gulf War, and that the seventh-season 'Duct Soup' was only made because there wasn't enough money for a script where the Cat had to have sex or die. Also that from the engineering decks to the science labs there are 2,002 floors, and that the Cat thinks highly enough of Lister that, if he ever were to have a seizure, the Cat wouldn't steal his shoes. And the Cat had 11 racks of suits as of 'Future Echoes'.
Owzthat?

I like the one from Series VIII when Rimmer finds out he's been signed up for the canaries (well mibbe it's just that scene I like), and I also like the one where Rimmer gets stranded through a black hole, and has to spend thousands of years on his own, so ends up creating hundreds of Rimmers.
Not that I'm obsessed with Rimmer or anything, but he's the funniest, and Wayne Dibley's good when he appears...

Duane Dibbley is funny - there was a script planned whereby the Cat changes into Duane in times of stress, but it got scrapped (Damn!). Ok, best scene? Mine has to be the opening from 'Camille', which is also my favourite episode.

How does that scene go again? I like the scenes with the computer who could see into the future, I've forgotten her name... You know, the one the Canaries find? Oh, and the scene where Rimmer finds out he's been signed up for the Canaries is great too, classic Rimmer...

The computer is Cassandra. The scene goes like this:
LISTER: Let's try again. What's this?
KRYTEN: It's a banana.
LISTER: No. What's this?
KRYTEN: It's an unngggggghhhhhhhhh.......it's an uuunnnnnngggggghhh.
It's no use, I just can't say it!
(he learns to lie)
LISTER: Now, let's move to insults. How would you describe the gentleman who just appeared on the screen?
KRYTEN: He's Mr Rimmer......
LISTER: No, no, he's a?
KRYTEN: He's a....a....a.....(Lister holds up a card with 'SMEG' on it) SMEEE......(Lister holds up a card with 'HEAD' on it)...HEEEEEE
LISTER: Brutal! Now the ultimate test. Can you say it to him in person?
Now do you remember?
Key: Complain about this post
