I'm 16 and i lost my sense of smell 7 years ago from a head injury caused by someone throwing a boules ball at my head. (yay)
people probably think im a bit weird because i can't smell,and it probably doesnt help when i get paranoid about things like gas or burning! oh well.
I'm glad i can still taste stuff, and i'm ok about most things if i cant smell, but some things still smart a bit to think about, like in the summer when the whole garden smells of flowery stuff and everyones going 'aw, that smells gorgeous!' but i'm (fairly) patient so ill wait till it comes back again
