this place suddenly feels very lonely.

So sorry everyone!!
My last outing into the civil war lasted a bit longer than planned and merged into a trip to england followed by another civilwar weekend and a trip to canada. The lack of computers in the 1860's along with the computer crash that soon followed has left me rather behind in h2g2, sadly.

So glad to hear from everyone, I normally would have informed you of my leaving but I thought I would be right back. Isn't it amazing how life can suddenly pick up so quickly?

I'm sorry you are lonely phord....but I'm back now!

Soon to be back to the island as well...if i havent been voted off yet due to neglagence I did get the fire going be fore I left though!! (fire..our specialty. hehe.)

Hi, Lintilla! I put myself in the hospital tent at the Survivor site because I was not around for a week and the backlog was too much to read, respond to and maintain the character I had going. Guess I just got too busy to keep up with it. I had fun for a week, though.

How's everything?

Well the word is still spinning (as far as i know ) ox, so I guess all is well. I couldn't do the backlog either but i somehow worked myself back in....i had never gotten a chance to start so i didnt really need to maintain anything and no one had been talking about me. I'm still kind off lot but I'm managing and having fun. i actually got very clost to blowing up the entire hidden beach last nite but someone came up with a better idea. You should have been there to back up my plan.(it would have been fun- imagine all the flying sand)
Actually I have to be back off to the 1860's this weekend and I'm going to miss the end. I may just leave my survivor character in the hands of another user. to bad though, i was looking foreward to seeing the outcome.

Ah, well...another thread will be along, I'm sure!

The long download thing has something to do with that sleek, black, beast of a 14.4kbps modem under the desk.

I could get a brand new one for 'bout £27 but that would be one of those s****y little Software Modems that wont work with a proper Operating system (Linux). Ah well.
