Daughter and I took Pa to the hospital today for the results of some tests. He's developed prostrate cancer.
On the plus side, it's been caught early and as he's 81, the chances are quite good that it won't be that that carries him off (his words).
He told the very nice 
that he'd just ruined his last ambition which is to be sued for paternity at the age of 90 
. Of course the answer was that they could do miracles for that sort of thing these days. We told the to behave, I certainly don't want another sibling at my age

Thanks Lil, he's actually facing two ops, he needs a new hip as well & that's scheduled for later this year.
He's incorrigeble, he was explaining his medical history to the MacMillan nurse and told her he'd take her dancing after the new hip. But as he says, if you can't be a dirty old man at 81, when can you be? It was his ambition from the age of about 14 
I don't know what we're going to do with him!

Hmmm....i bet they get some strumpet in 
outfit to attend to his every need, bet it will take him around 5 minutes after the ops to discover new hip means he's gyrating like Elvis & sorting prostate means...er, well; have you thought about whether you'd prefer a brother or a sister?

Good news, the cancer's not spread
Bad news, a double orchidectomy and hormone treatment is on the cards. Pa's a bit down as he won't achieve his ambition, but like I told him, he could still be sued, just proven innocent
