I have to format my laptop.

Again.

Twice since September.

Third time total.

I know it's getting geriatric, but come on! Shouldn't it work if I re-format it?! *sigh*

Hmmm, I have to do that about every 6 months with XP Pro, it's designed to be rebuilt regularly apparently.

Perhaps you should ask the guys in the Atelier Computer lab.

I'm so glad I have a lovely Apple iBook.

I've never understood why other PC and laptop users reformat things so much. I never do it, and my stuff works just fine.

Then again, I have an unusually high threshold for pain, so maybe I just don't notice that my computer needs this stuff.

I don't think desktops have as many problems as laptops do. The fiance says that laptops have a shorter useful life than desktops... something about lacking sufficient ventilation. *shrug*

It *is* almost four years old. You'd think I'd be able to nurse it through my college career. Sheesh!

I think that every laptop should come with a 5-lb sledgehammer, just to keep it in line.

Mine certainly has drawn its share of swear words. I still believe that if it was a child, it would have the foulest mouth in the known universe, because that's all the language it hears.
