I've been wondering why people say Royksopp are so good live. Surely they just sound the same as on CD?

Hmm... Didn't mean that to sound so insulting... I do like Royksopp, they just don't sound like they'll be very interesting to see live.

Have you ever heard that a musical instriment strung live is much better than recorded? it's down I think to the Freq' that you can record on either digital or analoug media, it's just not the same as Freq off the hearing range tend to effect the ones that are inside the hearing range, and don't forget about base.
Nothing like Virdi Live.

I was incredibly disappointed after I saw the Libertines live and then bought the cd. they sounded nothing like recorded
They even made me wonder why I'd gone to see supergrass at one point in the performance. But then supergrass came on. And then I knew

hmm, yes sound is cool, you can always tell if a sound is synthed, pached (and sequenced) or played live, violines are netorious.
