I'd find it very impressive if Bosch did mean (intend?) to pre-date anyone. Are any of us now deliberately pre-dating luminaries of the 22nd or later centuries?
(Is pre-dating the period where you tell each other that you're "Just good friends" even though it's obvious to the world and his dog that you're far more than that?)
