OK... maybe coming from England I'm used to the snow, but I just love this article!
Thank you Tim... I hope that you like the graphics!

About 5 years ago I led an expedition from London to New York, via Siberia, and Alaska. Art Mortvedt, a great friendly giant of a man, was our guide for the Alaska leg which took us from Wales to Fairbanks on snow-mobiles. Since then Art has been down to the Antarctic three or four times as a pilot in the pre Christmas "summer" months. Every time he comes back we talk and I search for an excuse to go there. This entry makes me want to go there even more than ever. And I’ve a feeling that one day I will. Thanks Tim – its great.

Shazz, I have to take issue with you about the snow- I've lived in England always, but have never experienced proper snow
I loved the entry, though.

I guess that I have the advantage of being older then you in this case Joanna I can remember building igloos and also walking between banked snow which was at least 1 foot taller than me
The year I took my driving test there was snow (in November!), so I am quite an expert at negotiating icy and snowy roads

*looks jealous*
*considers she probably doesn't like snow*
*stops looking jealous, but wishes she could go sledging. Now. This second...*

Its real muggy. I seek solace in the air conditioned computer room...
