h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I find my musical taste varying a *lot when being under stress (covering for a colleague who's on vacation) and I usually try to find relaxing music on youtube

The other night, it was 'How I'm gonna get through' (fitting refrain, I thought at the time) with Pet Shop Boys featuring Dusty Springfield (a I-feel-so-sorry-for-myself-song) to console myself with:

Rewatching it, I was struck by the likeness of the dancers/chorus girls compared with another of my favourite music videos; Annie Lennox in 'Why':

Surely the second video (but not the song) was inspired by the first?

I might have tried to make this comparison before, sorry if it's a re-run experience for those of you who read my journal postings.

Madonna making an ABBA inspired song sampling the refrain (with their permission, which is rather unheard of). No links this time.
