Steve, the family and I have just got in from a fabbie night in the Edinburgh festival - 3 show in one night and 2 of them were free.
If you are coming - go see Michael McIntyre at the Pleasance. The guy is absolutely fantastic. A real comic genius.
The last show we saw was a chinese horoscope compatibility love test. And this guy was great - he described both DD and me down to an absolute tea. DD is hard working, philosophical, debates things over and over, writes plays poetry and novels. I am a tough cookie - the toughest in the audience, but cos I'm scorpio he said:
'I'd f**k her, but I wouldnt f**k with her'.
I'm so pleased as punch with that! Definitely one of the best compliments I've ever had I think cos he knew exactly what my temperament is like. I just hope it didnt scare off DD! 
Oh. And we were the most compatible couple of the evening... 70-75% compatible. Which is fab, cos I do hold a lot of faith in chinese and western astrology.

One of the best compliments I've ever had was when someone introduced me. She said "This is Matthew. He's freaky, but he's sound."
I don't get enough compliments.

nah... not the way he said it. Everything he said, not only about me but about DD was so true. It was well spooky...
