A Conversation for Things Someone Should Have Told You
Don't Wish Your Life Away

As the thing you're waiting for may not be there when you get there... enjoy everyday in between and when you finally get to that day, and the whatever you've been waiting for is there, not only can you be happy about that, but you can also have things to talk about as you've kept yourself busy
Admittedly sometimes it's hard not to want to wish your life away

It's taken me 26 years to stop waiting for...next week, month, year, job. My advice now is just relax. Things mostly take care of themselves. Bills usually get paid in the end. If you generally help out other people, they'll reciprocate when you need it. Nobody else's life is perfect, either. Whatever your plans are, they'll probably change. But I think I've already been told all this before - I just didn't hear it. Oh! and when it comes to raising kids - don't sweat the small stuff (Erma Bombeck).
