Yeah, but the (possible) earth-sized one is really a bit too close to the star, and has an insanely rapid orbit smiley - puff

I suspect the record breaking thing will quickly pass. I liked the quote from the St. Andrews astronomer where he categorised it as 'one of the most informative' - seems about right. Course, we have no idea how common this sort of planetary population is. But it is very interesting. I'm particularly taken by the 5 neptune like planets within the orbit equivalent to mars. What they doing there one wonders?

It's just been promoted on the BBC News channel, although the presenter said the 5 planets are rocky and look like Neptunesmiley - erm
