What will Andrew study in college?

Well done to both of you, GB. I have never been able to imagine what you go through with Andrew, it's beyond my comprehension.
Nonetheless, I feel pride and relief both *for* you and *with* you for his achievement. He must be pleased with himself, too!
He deserves a , or whatever his preferred form of extreme affection and pride would be. (Kids in his situation aren't too fond of physical contact, are they?)
Does he have to select a certain group of subjects to continue or will it still be a general education where he's going?

He is signing up for Sport Science, literally, he will br taught to be a trainer.
Thanks TC, the reward is all the greater because I've done it mostly alone. I would have cracked a LONG time ago had it not been for my #1 daughter taking him every time I asked and allowing me to get to meets. She deserves some credit and my everlasting thanks. It has worked well for both of us, because I've helped with Liam

This is a child who would have kicked you if you'd tried to hug him many moons ago. And you'd never have got near him for a kiss.
Now, so long as he knows you, he will accept hugs and kisses on the cheek (from ladies) and he displays infinite patience with Liam. He didn't even seem to mind when Harrison cried all the time he was here on 15th March and that was something he couldn't stand, not so long ago.
The progress has been slow but I've just been saying in another thread that he's developed a sense of humour, and catching me out practising his straight face. It's disconcerting in a way, feeling like the roles are reversed, so he's probably displaying infinite patience with me too...

He's going to have to push that a bit further if he's going to be a sports trainer.
Or aren't they allowed to touch their trainees any more?

I have only just caught up with this GB. I am so pleased for you, Andrew and your family, and your Dad does know I am certain.
Andrew is lucky to have such a dedicated family who don't give up. I have seen the struggles first hand elsewhere and I have an idea just how hard it is.

Andrew still has no idea what he wants to do, but he seems to be on a course which lumps together trainees intended for uniform services like the police, fire service and the forces. They're making him do 100 press-ups a day and tomorrow he has to tackle an assault course. Next week he's going on a training course at an army camp, from Tue till Friday. He's never stayed anywhere overnight before, never mind 3 nights. And I'd be alone, if it wasn't for Goldie, plus Liam will still be coming here after school until he's collected by his Mum, so it won't be too quiet.
