For some peculiar reason i was watching Prisoner cell block H, and in one of the girls cupboards, sitting alone on the shelf, was a big tub of Johnsons baby powder... it kind of begs the question.. uh?
I cant believe this show is/was soo popular, everyone ive seen so far is ugly, so you would think the acting would make up for it, but its worse than their looks... and the clothes are terrible.
The only other shows set in a prison i can think of are actually quite good though... Porridge, that watchable comedy show with the guy who looks like my dad, AKA Harold Bishop from neighbours(thinking about it was quite bad) and Oz which is fantastic.. violence, great acting, and delicatbly clever storylines mirroring controversial moral and ethical issues... but i just like it for the violence.. hehe
The only violence ive seen in Prisoner cell block H is their haircuts. They probably didnt have scissors back then, so they just had to rip and tear bits of their hair out or something.. looking at it now i bet if someone lit a match, there would probably be enough hair spray in that prison to blow up a small country...
