Yeah - my sister-in-law just had twins last Friday and she already has a son who turned 2 on 12th June. It makes me tired just thinking about it!!
Mother and babies doing fine - Father exhausted and in shock
Congratulations!!!

My ex-sister-in-law had triplets at the age of 43. All boys.
With her brand-new husband too.
She had 2 teenage daughters who chose to stay with their dad, my brother, when mum left.
My daughter gave birth within 2 weeks of the tripbeing born, to one son.
I minded him for a year, after she went back to work, until he started school.
I'm 2 years younger than ex-sister-in-law.
I don't know how the heck she copes with three boys the same age as my grandson.
I couldn't even imagine Liam doubled, never mind trebled.
I take my halo off to anyone coping with young children.
A woman from my hometown had sextuplets a couple of months after I had my youngest {they will be 8 now}.
I saw them at the mother & toddler group.
I even helped out taking a couple of them to the toilet.
They were quite the celebrities of the town.
Their mum ran their home with military precision...
I suppose with necessity!
Congratulations!!!

"Wonder if Jim & family are getting much ?"
Some. For the first few days, Isobel would feed almost continuously for most of the night, and sleep for five or six hours during the day, feeding most of the time she wasn't sleeping.
Today she hasn't needed feeding as much, and last night she slept for about three hours straight, which was nice.
Congratulations!!!

Congratulations! She's a cutie isn't she?
I like babies, so long as I don't have to change them...
Congratulations!!!
Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Jun 24, 2001
Are you a dab hand with the nappy-changing, Jim?
Or do you leave that pleasure to mum?
At the moment it's shift-work.
Try & get the kids out of the house so your Mrs. can get some
Then she can do the same for you.
Uninterrupted sleep is like a lottery win for new parents.
Are the doting grandparents offering any help?
Accept all offers
See if they will take both children, so you & your wife have some quality time together.
Are you having time off work?
Congratulations!!!

Hey Jim,
Just popped in to say congratulations! She's a gorgeous babe Looking forward to seeing you all at some point, but probably not for the next couple of weeks - I've still got a week to go and who knows what could happen between now and then?!
Big hugs, Anna
