Aha. I spy a fellow Cherwell fan.
Last time I saw the OS, the crossword was cobblers. A sure sign of a bad newspaper: Metro, South Wales Post, the Grauniad etc etc.

... The Sun, the crossword of which can be completed in 3.5 minutes, and that's including the time taken to write words out seperately to confirm spellings.

Okay, the Guardian crossword often has mistakes, but it's not as ludicrously simple as the Telegraph's.

the suns crossword is bloody tough. sometimes its really easy and obvious words, and then they either throw in a clue like Bird(4) or 3rd Century Church father (5-6) and you cant get either of them.
