My dad claims that he sorted out a problem with the electricity supply at the big ole country house where The Small Faces were living in the 60s.
I almost got a chance to find out if he was telling the truth - Ian McLagan lives just outside Austin in a town called Manor (they pronounce it Maynor... I don't know why), and he played a few songs with Billy Bragg when the Bard of Barking did a show here last November. I couldn't quite get to either of them though

I must have been thinking about this when I went to bed last night. I had the weirdest dream that I was hanging around sharing my old mate's house with the singer and drummer from Muse. the bassist wouldn't talk to me though
It was a fun dream though

well, yeah, but a) it was a mother and a son/aunt and nephew (not sure which)(probly aunt/nephew) and b) it was more of an instant kitten...like, made from magic instant kitten mix or something

I get absolutely WEIRD dreams these days. Some of them are so frustrating I wake up wanting to hit someone (poor Mike).
And our cat is just standing there looking out the bedroom window or lies between us in awkward positions.
