Oops, hit the wrong button. Ahem, to continue....
blueberry muffin, maple walnut, and several that contain alcohol, such as Guinness, Grand Marnier, Shiner Bock (a Texas brewed beer), Frangelico, coffee Amaretto, and something called grasshopper, which I've not tried yet.

You can have all sorts of goodies, called crush'ns, added to your ice cream - M+M's, oatmeal cookies, Junior Mints, fresh strawberries, various chocolate bars, ginger snaps, the list goes on and on. Your server (scooper) will first grab a couple of paddles and get a huge scoop of ice cream from the freezer. Then they'll bash it to within an inch of its life on a marble slab (this is rugged ice cream!), rather like the way that butter used to be made. Then they'll add your crush'ns - alive (whole) or dead (crushed). Finally, they'll grab a dish, and throw the paddle, with the ice cream on it high in the air, to fall with a satisfying *splat* into the dish, and charge you no more than $5 for the privilege. Enjoy smiley - tongueout

Oh, and did I mention how sumptuous the ice cream itself is?

Thanks Iain, I needed that confirmation smiley - winkeye Sometimes I forget the most obvious things.
One of the things I like most about h2g2 is when an old thread that you posted to ages ago and have forgotten about suddenly pops up on your personal space, and you think "Uranium on Your Breath? I don't recall a forum called that. What on earth could I have possibly said there?" I'd completely forgotten about my entry for Amy's (and, icidentally, it's far too long since I've been there).
Glad to hear that the shiatsu helped out - I can personally recommend it. I had a friend who was training and needed people to practice on. It's really very good smiley - smiley

Thank you for being one of a very few people to acknowledge my presence on h2g2.
That is the main reason why I became a researcher.

"Fishing for a good time starts with throwing in your line"
Tom Waits - 'New Coat of Paint'

It's one reason why I became a researcher too - I enjoy contact with all these people I've never met, but I find that as far as replies go, I mostly get a strike rate of about 5/10 from all the forums (fora?) I join, and only one or two lengthy conversations at any one time. I've made comments in dozens of them since I joined, and it's a lot of fun to see one come up from ages ago that I don't even remember joining until I read the new post. To be honest though, I avoid most of the "places" like the various pubs, parties, Foxy Manor, etc. I can't get into virtual life to quite that degree - I prefer just to discuss.

thanks

Hmm, I seem to be repeating myself about the old forums thing... oh well, they say that your memory is usually one of the first things to.... what was the question again?
