There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted May 6, 2013
I'm still working my way through the early David Tennant series, one a week (watched the one with Peter Kay on Saturday), so no spoilers please!

the Peter Kay one was the one with Mark Warren wasn't it? I loved him in that, and the Gruesomes always shout "look, it's Elton" whenever The Hustle or something comes on.

oh I absolutely love her. Have you seen the BBC Shakespeare Retold films? She's in The Taming of the Shrew with the fabulous Rufus Sewell. Well worth a watch.

I remember her mainly for being Jude in the Bridget Jones films.
Shirley Henderson.
As for the Dr Who thing - no idea what this is about. Could you explain for us non-licence-payers?

this week's Doctor Who ep was set in Bradford in 1893. The baddie was referred to at one time as Mrs G

I'm presuming it was all shot on a set, I don't think there was much outside stuff at all.
and, sadly, nobody said "there's trouble a't'mill"

Oh, yes, they did! The Doctor said it to Clara at some point - can't remember exactly when, but he definitely said it.

I haven't watched Doctor Who regularly since the Tom Baker days. That's when I started my Saturday job and often got home from work too late to see it... and was too busy getting ready to go back out and get bladdered on a Saturday night After that I just lost touch with it, but I'd been a regular since the fourth or fifth story.
I'm having a hard time adjusting to these hour-long one- (or sometimes two-) episode stories since Who was brought back. There should be more cliffhangers. But I'm enjoying it so far, and I'm watching one episode a week, on a Saturday around 6pm which is the only time Doctor Who ought to be on
And no more hiding behind the sofa
