Right, tomorrow is our month end at work, so I'll be in the office until about 8pm (early, but I really have to leave) whereupon I will zoom off to Bonn airport to pick up my mum, the Gruesome Twosome and my mum's brother (so, my uncle) who is staying the weekend.
Sunday it is #2's birthday (I can NOT believe that she is 7 already) and we have a nice day planned for her: lunch at 
's place, followed by rowing round the lake there, mini/crazy golf and then back to the restaurant for cake which he will make for her.
Then on Monday take mum and my uncle back to the airport, and on Tuesday me, the Gruesome Twosome and will jump into our rusty jalopy and head south like a flock of something or others.
Oh yes (in my case at least) the great breasted holidaymaker.
Yaayyy!
We're taking 3 days to journey to Croatia (through Germany, Austria and Slovenia), where we will camp for 10 days before heading back via Italy and possibly Switzerland and France, or Austria again.
3 weeks holidays from work!!! I can't believe it. It's the first time I've ever had such a long holiday (of course the control freak sexist moron managers are having forty fits about it - but tough!! I've earned this break, I'm almost burned out)
Then when I get back I will double, triple, quadruple my efforts to find a new job before christmas.
So, enjoy the summer, and...
I'll be back. (maybe even with a tan!)

Oh I hope so, the weather is nice there right now and I have a MASSIVE stack of books to read.

Same here but four days into my time off all I seem to have done is housework
...it's a nuisance when you aren't actually going away for your hols, which is my situation this year. Not the same somehow.
Anyhow, enjoy it!

I was thinking about Slovenia today. We haven't decided where to go yet, although I've only got one more week off. I've managed to coax 3 weeks out of the company too.
Maybe bump into you on some country road ....
