Some people really make me want to slap them
Sho - employed again! Started conversation Sep 28, 2009
I try not to be judgemental. I try really really had to remember that we are all different and that we all come to things with a different POV and that with very few exceptions we can learn from listening to (reading) what other people say.
But... people are so keen on being PC and right on and "not gossipy" while making STUPID statements.
I just want to get my slapping hand out.
I feel better now.

We're going to need to be careful if we're all slapping the same person
but we can use this thread like a punchbag if you like.

Some people are fond of debating for its own sake. Unfortunately, some of them also howl and throw tantrums if they meet a conflicting view to their own, no matter how logical, sensible, or well-backed-up with evidence it may be. There's not a lot we can do about that, but personally I've given up even trying to have a discussion with them when I've seen it all so often.

Is it worrying that I knew whose journal this was going to be just from the subject line?
And that's without being involved in the actual conversation ... as far as I know.
Unless it's me ...

Actually, I think I've had a journal with this title, directly as a result of being in a thread with the same person before.
I'm a little worried that I have a reputation for violence and will be all sweetness and light from now on.
