I had always thought that penfold was a mole due to being black andhaving thick glasses (as everyone knows moles can't see well).

I hadn't realised Count Duckula had come from DangerMouse.

yes I recently bought a *ahem* bootleg video and it showed him in a DM episode....I had not known before that

we got penfold on DVD for christmas and it had one of the episodes with Count Duculara and have to say he was notably different to the caracter in the cartoon serise in manner not looks.

penfold eh? DM even

yes but then you don't don't get to hear his killer "Count Duckula" theme music in the DM eppisode either

I wonder if they thought of using him in his own series when they created him or someone saw the charactor and said hey that would be if we used him like this

I only recently found out through a friend that Penfold was indeed a mole. I had always believed him to be a very small man. ( I was a niave child)

"oh crumbs cheif"....my mom told me a while back that for some reason some cartoon had me running around saying oh crumbs all the time...I guess it was DM

I got a DM and a penfold poster, you know

where did you get it? The only DVD's of the shows I have found have the Region 2 codeing so I am afraid they won't work on my machine

I got one in a poster sale at our student union. The other one I got from the HMV at Liverpool

hmmm that might it a bit of a problem then that would be a pretty long journy to ge a poster
