Just think of it: When I was logged in here the last time, my daughter had not even started to go to School, and right now she's just two years shy of finishing it ...

What have you missed? I'm not sure I could surmise the last decade in one posting. But I've been here all this time (though we have moved premises, to the BBC then out on our ears, now all on our own) and I'm now one of the Guide Editors. I'm still writing my Astronomy column for although it's only monthly and specials now.

I have two more grandsons and I lost my Dad to cancer. I'm now in a stable relationship with a wonderful man and have an empty nest, except for my Goldie. I'm caring full-time for my mother, who turns 95 next week, she still lives in her own home and that eats up most of my time. I've had to give up my car as I could no longer afford to run it so now I'm walking there and back which is, at least, keeping me fit!
