Hi, my name is Rick Nowell and I hope you are the same GalaxyBabe that posted on the Galaxy Zoo Forum. I'm researching the use of the word 'Zooite' for Galaxy Zoo (unofficially). At the moment, we find that you're the first person to use it on the GZ Forum on August 7th 2007 ("I'm sure there aren't 80,000 zooites posting here"). Did you invent it or did you get it elsewhere? We can't find any zookeepers having used it, or anyone predating you. It's a long time ago I realise! Your help would be very welcome. Best regards, Richard, Bristol, U.K.

Hi Rick, guilty as charged. I used the word because the site owners had started calling themselves "zookeepers" and I thought, that must make us "zooites". I liked the term and would be happy for it to enter the lexicon and eventually the dictionary. My claim to fame,
By the way I also replied to your email and at the inbox on the GZ forum so you'll get this in triplicate
