Yes, a year ago today, I made one of the BEST decisions of my life {after buying my computer} and signed up to h2g2. I saw a link to the site in the Daily Mirror. The column was "Kelly's I", I believe.
I thought, "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy eh? Gonna get me some of THAT!"
I wonder what I'd have been doing with myself for the last year if I'd never signed up.

Perish the thought.
I can't imagine having this much fun anywhere else.
I feel sorry for the other "me" X ??? in the alternate universes, who never signed up to h2g2.
But I'm glad I did!

I remember being so overwhelmed by the size of this place, I never dreamed I could "belong" like I feel I do now
I think the way I felt then is why I greet so many newbies now...
A friendly greeting can make the difference between whether one stays or goes...and we all need more friends, right?
The first entry I was going to write was going to be on my home town.
I really *must* get around to writing that one day!
