Generally the patterns in the sand deal with how water would flow around the various obstacles in the sand. Sometimes they are just patterns that felt right when the person raking the sand was doing it.

All in all just something nice to look at and enjoy smiley - smiley

Whatever it takes smiley - smiley

"The sound of one hand clapping" is actually a Zen koan used by masters to help ignite a persons meditation and help them achieve enlightenment smiley - smiley

I have always like, what is the sound of silence? When you think about it, it's definitely a unique idea.
