thanks for leaving me a message, i didn't think that there would be really someone stumbling across my page.
i also liked your collection of links and tips for using the guide, it's a great help.
h2g2 is very confuzing for a newby, especially since i just dropped by because i liked the books. i never thought one would actually get to write entrie. it is a pity that there are so many douglas-adams-wannabe-entries. but a visit to the few serious/helpfull-but-funny entries repais for that.

Glad my links were helpful. I was pretty amazed myself when I realized that I was going to be able to write entries for the guide. I've submitted two official entries already, along with playing with a lot of other stuff.

As far as my stumbling across your page, there was a bit of a trick to that. On the front page of h2g2 (as well as on my links page), there is a link for 'who's online at the moment' which creates a little popup window listing everyone currently here. It gives a little 'first day' notation by newcomers' names. Some of us like to stop by and welcome them. There's an official group of volunteers called the Aces who do that as well, but there have been so many newcomers recently because of Douglas Adams recent interviews, that they have a hard time keeping up.
