Ahh... I just thought I'd go ahead and post here again as it's good for you.

This and carrots.

Post 2

Spaceboy Zoom

oh...

But I don't like carrots
hmmm....

Classic Krissy

Well, then you'll die.

Unless you like chocolate ice cream. Which isn't good for you but is excellent at staving of lack-of-carrot-death.

Uh oh....
I'm defintely in trouble now...

Umm, does vanilla fudge ripple count?

One Krissy is NEVER enough

Post 5

Classic Krissy

That counts ESPECIALLY. In fact, that will protect you also from getting hit by buses.

One Krissy is NEVER enough

Post 6

Spaceboy Zoom

Ooh, that's good...
I get hit by buses a lot.
I need to eat more ice cream...

Post 7

Classic Krissy

*nods knowingly*

I somehow suspected you did. You seem the type not to be able to avoid the front end of screetching buses.

Post 8

Spaceboy Zoom

Well you can imagine a spaceboy on the mean streets of manhattan, crossing the street... you're really just asking for trouble...

One Krissy is NEVER enough

Post 9

Classic Krissy

Trouble? Where's trouble? CAN I GET SOME TROUBLE OVAH HEAH???!?!

Well, I am Sicilian, and can be awfully surly. Plus, I drive a mean bus.

Post 12

Spaceboy Zoom

Sicilian!?

You never told me that! Why, I'm sicilian too. We're practically family! A surly family, yes, but family nonetheless. smiley - smiley

Only I happen to drive a nice bus...

Heh. Peas in a pod. Only Italians can have that kind of instant repetoire. I should have known. smiley - smiley My new landlord is also Sicilian and he's already asked me 3 times if I need anything. smiley - smiley Solidarity.

So are you a Josepe or a Joseph? My dad's middle name is Salvatore and I have a Grandpa Joe, A Great Uncle Mario and a cousin Cosmo that's I've never met because no one will let me. smiley - smiley

Nice bus.

No, I'm defintely a Joseph... my grandfather was a Guiseppe though...
Then everyone else in my family is an Anthony... My mother's father wanted them to name me after him... but could you imagine: Sal LaSala?

Yup, us Italians stick together... my roommate is too... (Like you're surprised that Tony is italian)... Ha! my father once told me (completely straight faced) that my first wife has to be italian, but after that it didn't matter... He's a tad old school...

LOL... I always argue with people that my name is Christine (my stage name is Kristyne which is how I've spelt it for 13 years) does NOT have an "a" because the A is implied in the accent..it's not a full on "a"...

My last name is Crociata. smiley - smiley And Tony is a good, wholesome name. Antony is one of my favorites.

I think that if I dated a Sicilian boy my father would lose his mind. He knows what they're like, you see. However, he is mildly disgusted that I'm in love with a brit with the last name "Baker". If Andy and I have a boy (and we've been talking again... we just love each other and can't be separated) we wanted to name him Charles and call him Charlie. First of all, all the Charlies I've ever known have been great guys and secondly if he wants to be a barrister or something "Charles Baker" is posh, but if he takes after his dad and his grandpa and plays Jazz, "Charlie Baker" is an EXCELLENT name to have. smiley - smiley

I'm going to miss the Crociata though. smiley - sadface

My mother's mother was from Napoli and was very against my mom dating my father, a sicilian... "When they get new cars they stand next to them like this" {arms crossed like "this is my new car, ain't I cool?"} my grandmother used to say. She also always said that all people born in march are crazy (Amy gets mad when I say it...she is born in march {and crazy})

Yeah, amy isn't italian either... Weidner... certainly not italian. But my family likes her, so it all works out... They gave up on me because I never did date anyone italian... (always actually had a thing for polish girls...)

but my first son has to be named after my dad (this is how it works... I'm named after my grandfather, and so on)... and his name is Jasper! I'm lucky where I fell generationally. But I figure I could call him Jack for short... (Jack Daniels was a Jasper for example)

Talking with Andy again and alreadyt thinking about babies? You are in deep, girl smiley - smiley

Ahhhhhh tell me about it. I've been thinking about babies since Montreal a year ago. I don't want to have 'em for another 4 or 5 years, but we both want a passle of them. See, the thing is, we agree on every aspect of what we want in life. We're both very wierd, but in the same way. Total kindred spirits.

I knew the first minute I looked into his eyes. I really did. We have general plans for the future, we just don't know what we can do right now. So he called me on Saturday and said "I don't want to be broken up.. I just don't want to get MARRIED right now." And I said okay. So things are tough right now and it appears as if we're both just going to wait it out.

He's also talking about coming to see my new apartment, so that means a visit soon, which will make everything okay again.

My Grandpa Joe married a polish girl. smiley - smiley It was a good choice on his part. smiley - smiley Andy's birthday is March 11. smiley - smiley I'm September 20th.

Ah, you see, grandpa Joe knew where it was at... Polish girls are the best. I had a streak going for a while... wtorkowski to wolinski to perkowski. My mother thought I'd never come back if I went to poland (I did though)

What happened in montreal? City worthy of inspiring fertility...

Well, I'm glad to hear that you and andy are going to give it another go... Although you should tell Andy what my grandmother said about March... it explains a lot. smiley - smiley

Montreal was where Andy and I fell in love. We met in Chicago and then a month later 3 of my friends and I drove 15 and a half hours to see the band and for me to see Andy. It was nothing but heaven. That whole 5 days was nothing but pure heaven.

I could write all about it, but I started and I went back and erased it because it becomes a small book. smiley - smiley Basically I love Montreal and I loved Andy and me in Montreal.

I don't know WHAT Andy and I are doing and neither does he. We're taking it one day at a time right now. Sort of psudo-planning on having him fly into Chicago in August. I don't know. *shrug* it is what it is.

That's really incredibly sweet...

You are very lucky to have that kind of love, even if it is really difficult right now... I don't think a lot of people understand those kind of intense feelings, so that's probably why they give you a hard time about not giving up... they don't want to understand... it would only make there own feelings seem shallow... Mysery loves company and all...

Who knows if you'll make it, but at least you are trying
